Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I had a cord of wood delivered yesterday. I stacked over half of it but need to get the rest put up before the rain starts around 1. And I need to take DH in this morning for blood work and a dentist appointment. And get to the feed store. And meet someone to sell some stuff I have advertised. And run the dogs before the rain... busy day.

It's finally sunny here and just above freezing. Dare I say that it feels a bit more like spring, like there is a shift in the air? I'm not looking forward to the clocks moving forward this weekend, even though I am thankful that the spring equinox is coming up!

About the same here....
...preceded by an hour of rain as the temps dropped to just freezing which put a nice coating of ice on the fences and maybe branches for the wet snow to stick too.
I cleared the coop path and parts of the run...most should melt off today and tomorrow.

Looks like we missed the worst of it @Sally PB , Allegan area got like 10"...Whew!

Heard from our best friends who live in that area... 8" of snow.

He's the guy we bought the Falcon from. It was funny when he and DH were deciding on the price. DH was adamant that we'd pay $3K, friend said, no, only $2K! His wife and I were laughing. They split the difference, and the friend said he'd throw in an extra set of tires on rims, a second tranny, the plow, and seats out of the Jaguar he was dismantling.

DH said, ok, but you gotta help me with repairs when it needs it!

We do not get snow often and the birds do not go out in it.

Dry again, guess what is usually rain here is snow in California.
