We did a bit of tweaking today but the rain is upon us.
Went to the feed store as we let the main feeder get real low easier to move.
Birds where sure happy the feeders got filled.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

Rained all night and will continue today. Now the entire yard is a puddle, not just the low areas. You'd think I'd escape this nonsense by moving up the mountain out of the flood plain.

Wild thunder, lightning, and pouring rain, oh and some dime sized hail.
Garage started to flood and who knows what the chicken run looks like.
Power stayed on tho internet was glitchy.
Temps drop today with some snow this afternoon.

This is coming our way according to the forecast. And I finally have my new bi-directional meter, it was installed yesterday while I was at work, but the powerwall is not configured so I can't use my solar system. $100 says we lose power.

You know you have a drainage issue when the frogs don't even bother to go into the pond and just start spawning in your lawn!

The chickens also stuck their beaks up at breakfast this morning and immediately ran out to do worm rescue.

But on a happy note, the little Exhequer hen near that corner post is Remi. She's walking so much better since I rehomed Ace and has just been much more interactive with the flock since he left.

We had really heavy rain a few times last night, and some wind. I heard something crash onto the roof at one point. We'll go out later to see what it was.

Garage flooding didn't get any worse but chicken run definitely got nailed,
drain pipe got plugged so under run was wet.

Good morning, Cafe! We also lost power yesterday but only for a minute or so.
Today is supposed to be warmer, 45ish, but tonight even stronger winds are moving in. Oh well.
Sally, I hope the crash on the roof was nothing!
I like the frogs! Very Springy.

We've got a warm, sunny, dry break in today's weather forecast. We are taking full advantage. It feels absolutely wonderful!
