Oh that's for sure seeing how I'm trying to recover from Sat and put my house back in order. We're going to have another BBQ on Sept 3rd but it's the last one for the year (HOPEFULLY).

I have been up to my armpits in roma tomato.
5 cases processed.

Wasn't quite a hot as forecast today, cooler tomorrow too, then 2 days in the low 90's.
Maybe that forecast will be wrong too

Cloud cover helped today, I still opened the aux run and turned on the fan.
Got an egg from a legbar today, thought they were done for the winter...huh.
They were the first to stop laying and I've seen feathers but not a ton.

92 forecast for Thursday, with high humidity. DH will be very grumpy. He can sit by the AC, and I'll go sweat in the garden.

Yeah, the humidity stinks.
I'd pull cooler air into the house with the whole house fan if it wasn't also raising the humidity in here too.

We planted nine tomato plants before we left, then let nature take its course. We might get a few. Fortunately, we have a good neighbor with too many tomatoes and not enough time or room in her freezer to deal with them, so we were blessed with some from her. Six nice, big flats.
