4 days plus, and finally the power came back on around 2:30 this morning. It is so nice and quiet... Ahhhhh.....

I can't even imagine. The worst I've ever experienced was the February 2021 freeze and even then I was only without power for maybe three hours at a time, although many Texans experienced much worse. I do thank my lucky stars.

All you need for a cup of "Wednesday morning hug in a Cup" is already next to the coffee machine so brew a cup and sip it while you wake up.
I can't believe we're at the end of August and sliding into September already this year which means Autumn is right around the corner which brings Halloween and Thanksgiving then comes Winter bringing Christmas and New Years. Only 3 months left of the year, where oh where did this year go? Speaking of Halloween, I am so looking forward to attending Amelia Frightfest 2023 seeing how on Oct 20 or 21 the ORIGINAL Jeepers Creepers truck (from the first movie) is making a special guest appearance. Nope, FH isn't going to go with seeing how he doesn't like scary movies.
