I used to be 36-24-36. Those were the days!Well, my old eyes really could have done with a bit of cheering up, you know. But a picture from 11 years back just won't do the trick for me.
Back then I was much easier on the eye as well.![]()

Luckily my parents planned and paid for the wedding. Unfortunately, my Dad hired an accordion group for the music at the reception. I was so mad! The wedding was held in New York, my fiancee and i were in Nova Scotia.I did the courthouse thing, then breakfast at The Clock for a half dozen friends.
My Dad was thrilled about that, not so much about the groom.
He was right about that, lasted 7 years.
I have never understood spending obscene amounts of money at the beginning of a marriage, what start it out in debt?

FIL paid for a lunch out before, and since he was living in New York at the time, he was impressed with the LOW prices here in Grand Rapids, MI.I did the courthouse thing, then breakfast at The Clock for a half dozen friends.

I can see how they fall for it, I really wonder how they pay for it.....rich parents or someone taking on debt that may take years to pay off and the interest that might add to the bill.Ditto on the obscene cost of weddings/receptions/honeymoons. How do people ever fall for that??
