It's pouring down out there. Combine that with the strong winds coming off of the bay and you end up with a lot of rain down your pants.

Sally, I will take a bear any day, over a mass of baby snapping turtles! LOL!
It rained here as well and I PLANTED some peas and kohlrabi in the garden, yesterday. Today is a MORF run so I guess I had better get to moving.

I just came in from letting the dogs out to potty. I was seriously concerned that Piper might get blown across the road into the marsh. She definitely was taken aback by the strength of the wind.

Last night we went down to Kona to watch the reef mantas - there’s a hotel there that has a few spotlights in the water and the rays have been going there for 60 years.

The snapping turtle left this morning. I could find NO disturbance to the ground, at all. Maybe she could have smoothed the ground, but she surely didn't replant the weeds that were there.

So maybe not female. Or maybe just wanted to rest and spend the night somewhere.
