That's my interpretation. He has a reputation there as having something of a God complex. I didn't fit in with his perfectly executed day.

I worked with a doctor that had a God complex.

One day while getting ready to start a surgical procedure there was some water on the floor as he walked through it he stated I can walk on water.

Physicians routinely came to the facility where I worked for surgical training procedures. Many had narcissistic, ego driven, God complexes. There were exceptions, but many were not folks you would want to be around.
