I had lots of errands to do in town. There was a line for almost everything. But everyone was nice, helpful, thoughtful, friendly.
Maybe it's because the humidity is gone and it's cooler. Maybe it's because the kids are back in school!

When I was pulling out of the gas station, I had to wait for a school bus to pass. I wanted to point and laugh. I didn't point, but I did laugh!

Night before last I had a terrible bout of insomnia. Couldn't fall asleep until 3 then up at 6:30 for the day. I slept like the dead last night, but I'm still tired. I got 7 hours. I'll be taking a nap when I get home.

Aart, I am glad the chipper truck worked out. That made things easier for both parties.
Me and DHBF are working DH into a tizzy. We have scheduled for today: Splitting/stacking the last of one of the older piles of firewood ~1.5 hrs, and then we will get the saws and tackle some tree and slash clean-up from some Spring blowdowns and when 2 pm comes around, thereabouts, DS! and his family should be rolling in and will stop and surprise DH for his BDay. He has no idea the week that is in-store...
But right now, he is thinking that DHBF and I are insane workaholics. He is so borderline pissed off and kinda sore, it is hysterical!
