BYC Café

I think I'll put the electric blanket on the bed this weekend. There is something really nice about crawling into a pre-warmed bed.
Do you leave the blanket turned on all night?
Had a buddy who used a heated mattress cover to preheat her bed,
she turned it off just before getting in tho. I just stay still and shiver until things warm up, doesn't take long.

Supposed to get up to 80 today, was 70 yesterday.
Nights have been cold enough to close all the windows and pull up the extra blanket and the quilt half way. Not quite ready to fire up the furnace yet, but I have employed my feet heating pad.

LOTS of feathers and hardly any poops on the boards this morning.
Grocery eggs are such a disappointment, especially scrambled, and I hate scrambling cold eggs.

No, I turn it on about an hour before I go to bed. I usually read for a while, and turn the blanket off once I get warm.

Occasionally, I'll turn it on when I come back to bed after going to the bathroom, just for a few minutes to warm up again.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

My niece stayed over last night with C. They stayed up late to make tacos. They have some kitchen cleaning to do this morning...
When they were cooking, I was in bed reading and the girls were OBSESSED with the cooking aromas and would not go to bed. So I shut them in the bedroom with me. Then was ready to turn off the lights in 5 minutes.

I woke up at 4:45, got up and then realized I'd locked Piper in for the night and her porta-potty is in the living room. I heard her leave the bed to go use her potty at some point in the night. Uh oh!

I looked all around my bedroom. Nothing. Went into the bathroom... she peed in the shower stall! This is what I've been wanting her to do from the beginning. I turned on the sprayer and hosed down the stall. Easy peasy. I can give it a spray with disinfectant spray after that and it'll be good enough between regular cleanings. I think I'm going to start keeping the door shut and see if she can keep up the good work. But I'll lift my bath mat to be on the safe side.
