The hens like him and he is quite chatty and goes to tidbit when given a treat. I think he will do perfectly.

I am thinking that today I will split some wood for exercise and then go bowling for fun. Anyone else? LOL!

Good Morning All,

Over here, still dark and it is 6:25am Saturday morning. Had my first coffee and making tea now.

We fixed the oven, and it is back working for now. The nob is the issue. Those have been around for so long, I know it can not last forever, but still it feels troublesome when they all decided to fall apart one after another. The hot water system needs replacement soon, we are in process of deciding which type of hot water system to get.

@Mtn Margie, your rooster sounds really sweet.

@pennyJo1960 It is nice to wake up early before everyone else, I like that too.
I have the whole house to myself, quiet, lovely, and just me and the sound of my keyboard busy hanging out on BYC.

I am making cheese cake today, that is the easiest cake to make and they disappear very quickly too.

Yesterday, I had a friend from work who used to be an HVAC tech help finish connecting the line set and get the unit up and running. It's working great. It's so nice to have that project finished after all these long years.

It sounds like great progress with all of the fixing, Sky and DL.
We have had some nice rain that got a chance to soak in. High near 70F they say.
Bowling was fun! The food truck had some wonderful street tacos and I even brought one home for DH to snack on.

Good Sunday,

5:20am Sunday morning, having big cup of tea now, cold and cold.

Yesterday I got 4+kg of tomatoes! We eat tomatoes every day and I feel happy and complete whenever I have plenty of tomatoes and garlic in my kitchen.

These last few months tomatoes has been $12 per kg in the major supermarket, the independent fruits and vegetables shops is around $7 per kg. Yesterday this independent shop had it $3 per kg, but must buy a basket of it and that whole basket is over 4kg which is perfect for me. I am still searching for that Elephant/Russian garlic, I must get out of the city to find this garlic.

I am glad to be home today, yesterday was too much driving.
