How do you treat yourself when the mites are on you?

A long hot shower with lots of scrubbing.

If they come back, I will dust their nest while they are building it and when I see it done. I could even sneak out in the wee hours of the night to grab the setting parent and dust it. But that may make them abandon the nest...

Good Morning,

Rather a late morning as I woke before 4am.

Today will be a tiresome day, need more sleep. I did not have dream of chickens last night, but I had dream of visiting my grandma at the nursing home and as usual upset because they did not care for her.

I got 3 bales of sugarcane mulch yesterday, and the store keeper told me they will increase the price in a few weeks time. Today, I will do 2 trips so that I have in total 10 bales. Rain is coming and as usual I need more mulch.

The story of the wild birds died from infestation of mites is really sad, DL, you did your best. I imagine how itchy it is to have those things constant biting at them. ...nature.

Cherry cobbler...yummy! In Australia Cherry is only available around Christmas time...summer.
