Yesterday hubby cut up some wood. I was safety assistant and stacker. Today we'll haul the wood to the woodpiles. Eventually, we'll split it, probably in October/November.
The farmers are cutting the corn now. Because we haven't had any rain, they are not making a mess of the dirt roads, which are packed as hard as concrete. Because we haven't had any rain, they are making CLOUDS of dust. Pea soup dust. I don't know if that's a term, but it describes the situation well.
