Mocha ate grass outside came in then Ralph inside.
Cleaned that with paper then mop after.

Good Morning,

Coffee is ready, the sun is rising earlier and now before 5am. It is hot, dry and windy throughout the day.....my chickens are having a hard time of this hot dry weather. I hose them at the hottest time of the day, several times too. They open mouth breathing and close their eyes.

I am not watching or listening to the news now. I am having on the background relax instrumental music. It is very sad to see the world as it is now. I am seeing the changing of time.....

In my city, here is the house in a flood prone area. The house is raises so high to mitigate flood. In this area, some houses are raise not so high,but there are some like this one.
In these flood prone areas the house insurance premium is very high and few insurance company will insure these areas.

Wow, Sky! That looks crazy to me. Those people are living on the third story, maybe second in the last pic. I would hate to bring home groceries for 4 sons!

I think I kicked the cold by eating like a horse and sleeping like a bear, LOL. DH is still sick, though so I am off of the doc runs for my friend until next week.

There are houses like that all along the seashores that I've been at. When I was staying on Delaware Bay they were all up on piers. The house I stayed in was like that. When we were down in the Outer Banks, all the houses along the shores are up on piers.

Good morning Cafè. Thanks for the coffee. It goes well with my pumpkin spice steel cut oats.

It's chilly here and I've been burning fires regularly in the stove. Outside of unloading a face cord of wood and stacking it I don't have specific plans. But I saw a small cabinet stand posted on one of the antique mall pages in FB that I'd like to go see. I've been looking for something similar to it for years. Hopefully it will fit the bill.
