Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

We have a long road of cold, dreary weather ahead of us.

The local weather team forecast a snowier than average December, based on the fact that we're in a "weak La Nina" pattern, and what has happened historically in similar situations. We'll see. They're pretty good at getting the prediction, if not right, then close enough to give us a warning about what could happen.

A friend of mine calls them, "Panic 8" because they "overblow the whole thing!"

I'd rather they warned us about potential threats. They are covering a large metropolitan area and a large rural area. There are a ton of microclimates.
