I'm up extra early to see hubby and Freya off. They're headed to Charlotte via Pittsburg. Friends and family in both places. I have a huge list of things I want to do/get done while they're gone, mostly cooking and cleaning. We'll see how far I get!

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee!
I sat out on the back deck for hours last night watching the Northern Lights play. I was glad that it was above freezing and no breeze so a throw was good enough warmth.

Good Morning,

Coffee is ready, the air is cold and the sky is cloudy. Good weather!
Today I will spend much time in the garden to get a good tan...just kidding, working on planting and think deep thought of what to do with something eat all my sweet potatoes, turmeric and ginger leaf.

Yesterday I looked at my Lady Goldie, silver laced Wyandotte, she is so beautiful, the more I look at her the more beautiful she is. Her face looks like an Eagle's face. I call her Lady Goldie because she is gentle, eat slowly, walk with grace, such manner and wearing that magnificent coat of her. I love to hug her and rub her nice smooth feather on my face, but she often look straight at me saying..let go of me NOW!

Is it possible that one can love a feathery being that much?

I am SOOOOOO jealous!!! We have and will have for a while thick overcast or I could have seen a show here, albeit much wimpier.
