Good Sunday Morning🌦️

We must be all sharing the same sky at the same time because we are also having rain over here too. Our rain is steady, a bit windy and so refreshing with this rain compared to the other rain we had regularly.

I was soaked in the rain while adjusting my chickens shelters. This reminded me of the time when I was a kid running from house to house with the neighbourhood kids in the rain & on our bikes. Well, how time has changed, no neighbourhood kids running around or know each other anymore.

What to cook for breakfast in this rain, that is my question, I think a whole big banquet of breakfast is appropriate - the kind that King Henry 8th had, but I aren't cooking it for certain:lau oh, scramble eggs on toast, pancakes with Maple syrup and a nice pot of tea is suffice. :drool that is all the available items in the house.

My lawn is green like carpet ❤️

Have a cool lovely day❤️

Good Morning ☀️,

1st coffee is here, too hot to drink in such humid weather. More rain to come. My dog tells me when storm is coming because he can hear thunder so far away, he starts shaking and panting. I don't need the weather people to tell me.😄

There are so many Christmas cooking shows on tv now, the setting is bright, cool and the food is so festive, the giant leg of ham, 7kg turkey, cherry tomatoes, potatoes..etc....the nice cool glass of wine...seeing those make me feel cooler than the reality that I am in.

Some of the US and UK cooking show have falling snow. In the last 20 years or so there is a trend of Christmas in July because July is winter over here, but it has not catch on much. We went on holiday at the beach in July to escape the cold, that was before we have chickens. Now 365 days holiday in our backyard😄

Have a wonderful day🌻

I have a breadless meatloaf cooking in the oven and smoky red lentil soup to heat up to go with it.

I cleaned out old jars from my spice cabinet and removed a bunch of expired things from the refrigerator because tomorrow is garbage day. There was an older pack of soft tortillas in the refrigerator that C put there. I took two of them out and had fun letting the chickens rip them into tiny little pieces.
