BYC Café

I think today hubby and I will go to the store. We'll take the Jeep, since the tires on the car are not great. Not old, just kind of cheap and crappy tires that don't grab very well. That's what was on when we bought the car. With the dry summer, we didn't realize how little traction they had. :hmm

We've eaten all the turkey. The mashed potatoes and gravy were gone on day 3 of leftovers. Hubby finished off his pie last night. The fridge is somewhat bare.

He usually doesn't want to go shopping, but when he goes -- if he takes his patience and doesn't leave it in his back pocket -- he will find stuff he likes to eat. If he goes, at least he can't complain that "there's nothing to eat!"

Ok, he still can complain, but I'll just laugh at him.

That is ridiculous! Cops around here won't even look at you twice for going 42 mph in a 35. That's over 2.5 times the violation that you "committed" and I'll bet there were plenty of people around you going faster.

In the US you can request supporting deposition without pleading guilty on the ticket. Can you do that there?
It was a law enforcement van parking on the side of the road measured speed and took picture of motorists. I could elect to go to court instead of paying the $333 fine, but I was driving at 67km/h@60km/h zone so paying the fine is the only way.

If I drove 61km/h at 60km/h zone, they still post me that infringement ticket. Less than 11km/h over the limit is $333 fine and 1 demerit point. There are plenty of people do that without even knowing it as that part of the road was driving up the hill, so naturally one just step on it.
The fine is big, especially this time of year. I was so down when I open the letter seeing that big $333. I watched a handful of movies and accept it this morning, cause and effect. From now on just drive like a turtle and get a fine for slow driving dangerously. Most likely irritate other motorists.

Good Morning❄️☀️

1st cup of coffee is here, and we are in summer and having early autumn weather now, so wonderful!

I saw my Doctor yesterday and he asked me any holiday plan for this summer? I holiday in my backyard with my feather kids.
He is going to America this January for ski holiday and he named many places in America that have wonderful snow, I remembered he mentioned Utah. His family has been taking a month ski holiday in America since he was a kid, he is now around mid 30.

He says that America is the most beautiful country there is, at that time I instantly thought of my BYC friends from America would love to hear that.:) He says that one can live anywhere in America, in the middle and anywhere. in Australia, we have a big desert in the middle and we can not live there. The size of both countries are the same.

I mentioned about on the news warning people going over to the USA holiday beware that even with an issued visa, one might be denied entry at the airport. He says his family go every year, the system know it. He told me a lot about snow, falling snow and real snow and I love it. We do not have real snow over here like in America and the ski area is very big and it took forever to ski down and he loved it. I feel really cool already hearing about snow.

Then I thought of my colleagues that from Canada, they told me they left Canada because it is enough with the cold already. Winter in my state is just simply lovely spring weather to Canadian while I freeze out.😄

Have a great day 🌻

Freezing can be anywhere all subject to what you are use to.
I get cold less than 35 I have a heavy coat.
Rain is not my friend bit not a enemy either.
The coldest winter night we have over here is like 9C = 48F, and that is freezing. I wear glove, winter socks, beanie and the heater is on. When I speak and breath smoke comes out, that is very cold in my state. But that kind of coldness only happen a few times at night in winter. Not often at all.

Okay. Here ya go. Two of my pictures from our record breaking 36" of snow in 24 hrs that fell on top of the 4" already on the ground. It completely buried my fence.
