Good morning Cafè. Coffee is ready.

I accidentally crushed the 6th pullet egg in my coat pocket while unloading an arm full of cord wood. That was a gooey mess to clean.

'Egg in the pocket' - something that has probably happened to all of us.

Seems like a nice neighborhood here. Mind if I hang out? I'm not much of a conversationalist, but I listen good, and I love coffee.

Nearly 11 years ago I stumbled into the Cafe'. King of Fools (who has disappeared) and @Mtn Margie were already here. We've grieved together, shared joy and congratulations, advice, and of course coffee. This is one of my favorite places. I'm reducing my activity level here at BYC but will try to visit here.

Same here as DH had another surgery and with everything that is going on I am much to busy as the day only has 24 hours.

I miss the Café time though.

Yes.
My friend keeps sending me YouTube videos of places she wants to see and activities she wants to do.
I have reminded her no less than 3 times that we are only going for 2 1/2 weeks. We are not moving there.
We're going to get together next weekend to try to flesh out when we want to be at each location and then find and secure lodging and transport. I'll probably pull my standard trick of searching during the minimum online traffic hours to book international flights in Asia.

2026 Whodathought!
I have been busy getting the trees cleaned up for my neighbor and fixing her dog fence. Tonight is book group and I am baking pumpkin bars.
My TX bro is back in the hospital with hip surgery so I need to check in with him today and see how he is doing and figure out the next step. I am pretty sure that he has not filled out any helpful paperwork so I am just a by-stander for the most part.
DH's two older brothers, and I am sure the sister is in the process of starting, are having great results from memory medicines. I will give DH some time to think about this...

Good morning Happy New Year Cafe!
Been busy with puppies getting them food a mix of canned and kibble.
One pup does not have teeth yet.
They clean the dish up slicker than a whistle.
