The sky clouded back over last night. No sunshine today, but it stayed in the teens instead of going down to the single digits. I call that a good trade.

As much as I like the sunshine, I am so OVER the bitter cold! Next week... 20s! Ah, luxury!

Tea is here, today supposedly hotter than yesterday and over here it is now 1st February 6:55am. A month has gone, done and dusted.

We have been seeing swans fly overhead. We'll hear something that doesn't sound like geese, look up, and see 6 big white birds flying.

I don't recall seeing swans this time of year before, and I wouldn't have expected the first time to be in a cold snap.

It's 34C (93F) at 9.03AM on the 1st of Feb.
The Little Correllas have moved into town again - while I find them beautiful - and so do the tourists - some people do get frustrated with them digging up the playing greens and chewing the rubber seals from round the roofing nails. Got to use the right deterrants on the playing greens folks.
