They also have people walking around with trays with tiny little bamboo cages on them that contain the local songbirds. They sell them to people because they feel sorry for them and feed them and then release them. Then they just trap the same birds the very next day. One of those ladies made the sorry mistake of coming up to me trying to get me to buy one. I gave her the nastiest of looks and said very sharply NO and shooed her away. I'll be damned if I'm going to support that practice.

@DobieLover What you seen there will leave an impact on your for a long time. I read about it through your post and my stomach turned and feeling very sad for human and animals. That elderly man got his lucky break received help from you and your friend.❤️

I know about the birds in cages, some Asian countries have this practice trap, sell, the buyers free those birds and then they get trap again..so it goes on... freeing those trapped birds is good karma...people are very poor so this earn a living for the sellers, the buyers feels they done a good karma, and those birds...not good!

I love to watch documentaries and I have seen so many that have this similar things, and the dogs eating business..etc..I feel so much pain knowing such practices. People are very poor in that part of the world and they do what they do. When I was holiday in Viet Nam, I was in the city and Hoi An is a tourist area, I did not venture much further so I did not see much the actual real life of every day people or natural scenery in open spaces.

Good Morning,
Coffee is ready and it is so warm this morning at 4:50am. It heat started around midday yesterday and I was about to burst in flame coming into the garden because of the hot sun...I am not a vampire, I eat garlic:lau

I am taking my mom to the hospital this morning to get her eyes check. I dread hospital and I have been stressing out at the thought of having to turn up at the hospital.

My feeling about hospital is like having a nightmare so I will pray and pray in my mind all the whole journey. I so not like the thought of hospital let alone having to walk in there.
