Im very sorry if this has been asked and answered a million times...but why not make calendars or pic books of all these great pics and sell them to support the site? Many of them are beautiful examples of breeds....

jenlynn, I'm going to try to avoid the pic of the week on the forum and keep it on the front page of the BYC site. The main reason is to keep the forum zippy fast. I'm working with CC to find a very easy way for her to upload new pics of the week herself. In the past she had to mail them to Garm and he had to post them.

mexis birds, calendars are a very good idea! Unfortunately the pics in the "pic of the week" section aren't high enough resolution to print and look nice. One idea: When we get settled in, maybe for 2008 we'll have a competition of submitted pictures, let everyone vote for the top 12, and then print calendars... how cool would that be?

Keep the ideas and suggestions coming!
