Well gals, we are to have a campout, hayride and wienie roast tomarrow at our saddleclub and a trailride Sunday so I will be busy. Don't know that the campout part will happen it rained Monday, Wends, and possable for more tonight. Be way too too soggy for a camper to set out there.

I hope Maw has a great time camping.

Warning: this will be a rant girls.
First of all, before I rant, let me just say, you are all doing such beautiful work on your projects and everyone is so generous and giving for all of the charities and whatnot. *sigh* Right now, I don't feel like I can keep up.

Rant: My landlord wants more money for the chicken venture. He's starting to mole around looking to raise our rent for the coop and told us that if we were to expand to the other shed he would want a whole lot of money. This is after he encouraged us to expand. He gets in these moods and goes off all "Money money money" and it just depresses me. I realize it is his income, but he doesn't realize that I mean I started this thing what, a month ago??? And DH spent 4 months remodeling the coop HIMSELF! and we put like 400 at least into that

coop. *sigh* And he's complaining about all the stuff he's not charging us for....

OK..*sigh* rant over. I just wish I could find a plot of land and do this all myself instead of doing it on someone else's. Not that I am ungrateful for all that our landlord is letting us do, but geez....

Sorry...it's just not been my week.

Maybe you can talk to the bank while they are getting all the government money and get yourself a house (mobile) and land deal? I sure would give it a try and get out from under the dictatorship of that cranky landlord

Have fun camping Maw & Karan, sounds like fun!!! Those cards to troops, btw, should be sent to the address on the bottom of that announcement...packages and cards....

Got my patio cleaned up and swept and some places in the back raked and cleaned up, ran my pond filter awhile and let the little feathered hooligans run wild awhile..now have to run get some groceries....have a great day ya'll..Shanah..when one door closes another one opens....

SE is right about the doors....sometimes you have to look for an unlocked window, too.

sounds like my landlord all right... except that he's an old grandpa dude...but he sure has his moods...

Hope no one minds that I hang out here today. I am just sitting here waiting to sell some eggs. With the cart outside closed down, it's harder and I can't really advertise yet because our supply is low...so I just have to take what I can get. I am so ok with that right now...DH was crunching some numbers and

with the price we are charging for eggs and the cost of feed...I would need to have 175 chickens.

to make a profit...

And since my Landlord is all for profit right now. *sigh*

But I was starting to come out of my mood and think of doors and windows...I am sure there is one out there. I have not ever been very good at finding or recognizing them though... and DH usually sees different ones that I do... which means we are crawling in windows and doors while the other one of us is going through a different one.

Hey everyone! I'm coherent enough at the moment so I thought that I would drop in and say "hi". The right side of my mouth is hurting the worst, and that's the side that I have a migraine on, too. I think their related. On top of that, the pain med that gave me is keeping me loopy most of the time.

Maw ~ no hooking here right now. I'm not sure that I could tell which way to hold the hook, let alone make any crazy shapes! LOL

OK - off to find something VERY soft to eat. I'll try to catch up on all the posts later.

Steph, I hope at least you got good drugs if you have to go through all this misery, loL!!!

Shanah, I hope it works out that you all can buy your own place and get out on your own....my wish for you...start visualizing it...make a vision board in fact, google vision boards, when Oprah talked them up the first of the year I made our family one..helps you stay focused on your goals and think positively...works for us!

Guess I'll work on hexagons tonight since my circles are at a standstill and I am sick to death of white cotton washcloths, lol!!!

Maw, the record bowls are the old albums melted and bent into bowls which I plan to fill with crocheted washcloths, soap made from a mold with music notes on it and a christmas music cd.

Thank you SE. I will see what I can do about those vision boards. sounds intriguing. Right now we have a TO DO board which is sort of like that but not as much fun.

Those record bowls sound amazing too! Wow!

evening gals, well I made it, and am still in one peice although I think I may have gotten bent a few more ways than normal trying to fit me and 2 kids into one sleeping bag and then I end up on a rock, princess and the pea kinda thing. LOL but I made it through the night but told dh that one night was all he was getting outta me. LOL! the girls really had fun, although poor blaylee was not sure about staying the night outside, she kept saying "well its time to go home mom, gotta get in the bath, and go sleep" LOL had to keep telling her we were sleeping outside she said but the wolfs will get us, thats after she heard the local alfa male howl, and he's a really biggggg cyote. bigger than my make lab. and hes big, but thankfully we had not late night visits from the forest critters. got up and made campfire coffee, eggs and bacon and MIL brought us some pancakes. well I must make this quick blaylee wants me to play with her and shes right her asking me if I am done yet. LOL

gapple and nat sorry to here about RA I hope snowball makes it out of the depression if not I will share my happy pills LOL

shanah I have been there gal, and these words really helped me get through it " And This to Shall Pass!" I will send you a really good book about this phrase with these others books. YEs I think I finally have them altogather.
