Sure, so long as you don't mind the rules of my wet floors. DO NOT even think about walking on my wet floors!!!! My kids finally understood the meaning of that, about the 5th time each busted thier butts. OH! I now know why mom, we'll get hurt. Uh yeah, that too! lol

I have a small dilema....
We have an ad in our paper about our chicks for sale. Well, we are down to our last 10 that we ordered from Ideal. We still have tons of our chicks for sale, just that they aren't all quite big enough for being out of the brooder. Everyone (who doesn't raise chicks on a reg basis) wants them to be already outside birds. I guess it makes it easier for them. Well, here's my dilema. A guy called earlier, he had called yesterday and didn't get a chance to come by. Well he wants all of our bo's, there's 10 of them. After hanging up from him, a lady calls, she asks a bunch of questions about them and what not. Well, she wants our last 10 also. Now, we don't do the 'dibs' thing with the birds,well, rarely we do. It's pretty much first come, first serve. The guy told me he'd be by this evening when he gets off work. What am I gonna do? lol
Jim said to tell her our hatched ones will be growing bigger faster then the pures... should I? lol
They do come from hardy stock. Sweety ( the dad) is bigger then his daddy, popcorn. Mostly cause his mom ('yssa hen) is a NHR.

You could just tell her about the other chicks available and see if she wants the "mutts" - and then tell her that a man had already called for the last ten and that if he fell through again she can have them instead.

I think *I* will keep you in mind for more chicks. Mine currently survived one trip from Texas, I guess my nerves could handle another batch, but not any time soon...I plan on keeping this current flock of 50 for as long as possible, because I don't want to cull and rotate at our current location. Once we get our own place, then we can think about things on a bigger scale...

OK. I am going to be done here for awhile. I'll check back later I am sure. But if I post as much as I did yesterday, I will feel really embarrassed.

home for a few had to let dogs out and throw a load of wash in.....cultures should be back around 5 tonight...hubbys legs getting worse...new sores are appearing and opening up.....dont know if he will have to have it amputated or not....

Oh my Scoot! Is he diabetic? Or could he be ?
How about them taking him to wound care? When my ex husband had his hand smashed, they made him do wound care like they do with diabetics. Are they putting anything on it or just doing the iv's?
This is just way too confusing....If I was there, I'd make a butt of myself asking too many questions. Want me to run up there and make them do thier job? lol

Oh Scoot I am soo sorry the waiting is got to be terriable... I am waiting for my brother to call me back when he has a chance. I will get some straighter answers as to what he was treated with and such.

Have Chuck on the phone now;;;;; he said there are 4 strong antiboctics that most likely work on this he is ging to find the list and call me back. He said they need to make sure to hit this hard with strong meds and do not put any type of gel or salve on the sores a dry stearle dressing only.

Will PM or pos as soon as he gives me the names of the meds.

well they uped hubbys antibiotics from 750mgs every 90 minutes to 1250mgs every 90 minutes.
they took off his bandages and cleaned his sores today. he has alot more on his lower leg.....his whole calf area basically. and a few by his knee and about 5 on his upper thigh.
hes not a diabetic and yes they tested for that.
just wish i knew what it was.....trying to be strong here.....just feel so lost and so so helpless. thanks for the prayers all!
