An anitbiotic treatable illness is so much better than what we we were afraid of Scoot!! I'm sure once they load him up with the right med he will get well. Sounds like you are on the backside of this crisis, whooo hooo!!! Hope his fever breaks today and he is home by the weekend

Something TERRIBLE must be wrong with Skand!!!! Holy cow!!! Ever known that chatty chic to not post at least 5 or 6 times a day and she has now been MIA for a whole day???!!!! I saw where Hippy Jim posted on the Mascot thread and we seem to have found Rocket so they aren't off causing mischief together..so where the heck is Skand???!!!!! Look in all the closets and under all the chairs..she must have done something bad, lol!!!

Sign-Ups are now Open!

Theme: "Anything Goes" Feel free to experiment and challenge your skills for this swap! Hexagons, Circles, Squares, Triangles, or "Other" crocheted shapes are all welcomed!! (No amigurumi in this swap.)

Color: Any! Mix it up or stay the same, up to you!

Size: 6" minimum - 12" maximum. Try to be consistent though, for example, all of your squares should be pretty near the same size, all of your circles should be pretty near the same size....

Pattern: Any! Feel free to mix up your patterns and make every square different or every hexagon different, or all the same, up to you!

Number: As many as there are participants in the swap.

Dates: Chat and gab and get to know one another in this thread. Post as often as you like! Official sign-up opens on February 1, 2009 and Closes on March 1, 2009. All items are due to me no later than May 1, 2009.

New folks are encouraged to visit with us here in this thread and post and get to know us! Chickens are not required, in fact several members of this group are not chicken owners! We are always happy to have new friends here in the crochet club! We'd love to have you join the fun, join the swap or any other projects that we have going on!!!!

When you have finished your Shapes, send me a pm and I'll send you my address so that you can mail in your work.

You will be required to send your crocheted shapes in individual ziplock bags with your username and real name on each bag. In addition, you will need to send $10.00 for Flat Rate return postage. Thanks so much!!!!!! Have fun!!!

SE, I'm here!!! I got a new cell phone yesterday and turned into a techno-geek for the day! It's got so many bells and whistles it made my heart race!(love that kinda stuff) Got DH an upgrade too. Asked him what he wanted in his new phone he said a keypad and a ringer. Such a simple man! I guess opposites do attract!

Hope to get hooking today! Did ya find Skand yet? Scoot hope DH is on the mend! SE, where are those puppy pics and how is she doing? Hope everyone I sent the Granny Chicken Pattern to gets it today, I'll send the other reguests out today also.

*runnin in from my hiding place* I'm here!!!
Was somewhat outta it yesterday. Didn't feel like moving around, then I had to. Run to feed store, tool store , had to get a trap for a skunk that thinks he wants to sleep under our bedroom window. Then had to get Alyssa, take her to speech. Dinner. run more errands. Finally was done at 6:30 last night, then it's showers and bed. When I finally had a free moment, Jim had turned off the puter, so I crashed.
Today looks crowded already too. Caydence speech, clean the church, then off to Alyssa's school for the PTA's Holiday Fair. Yay, a bunch of kids in a little room, picking out presents for people. Risu!! This is something you would like to do!!.
Glad to hear they at least know better of what it is Scoot. At least now they can get him the right meds.

Hope everyone has had a good nights sleep. Scoot glad to hear that it's not MRSA sure hope they have a good handle on what it is. I'm with Mangled on them getting CDC

Staph can be tricky, make sure they have infectous disease in on a consult. Sometimes, it takes more than 1 antibiotic. When we were dealing with staph in the ICU, we often "piggy-backed" IV Levaquin with the Vancomycin.

Being married to an EMT and the daughter of an ER & Surg Nurse ya get use to that type of conversations. Any way I'm sure the DR's are working hard, just remember to talk with them and Don't be afraid to ask questions.

Finished my SS project last night and dreamt that I gave away my secret...We are only supposed to give that away after the 15th, right, SE, even if we ship it early??? I am trying to let my SS person do the announcement, but I am really bad at keeping secrets.

Rocket how are your baby fuzzies?? And have your hens still been laying ?? Mine didn't lay anything yesterday, I got 1 the day before. But the Ducks are still giving me 1 to 3 a day.
