Anyone heard from Em (Mangled) about her boy????? I am really worried something may not have gone well, we haven't heard from her in like two or three weeks.

Yep, love those hexagons...and unless there is a major objection, that will be the pick for the spring swap..the fall swap is plain grannies..or fancy grannies, or just in-between grannies!!!

Tonto is doing wonderfully...ate a whole bowl of food so hes on his way to a complete recovery i think..... heres some more snowflakes....

He has been in PT for 3 weeks now, and he has an appointment with the neurosurgeon on Tuesday of next week. He's in a lot of pain. Poor guy. He keeps trying to do all the things that he normally does because he wants to "pull his weight", so I'm trying to do as much as I possibly can to keep him from doing too much. It's beginning to wear on me big time, and my hooking time is almost nill. Even my poor chickens just see me in passing lately. I've had my daughters doing most of the upkeep on them the last week or so to give me more time to do some of the things that really need to get done.

The porch is all but finished. There are a few spots that I will need to touch up, but I'm going to wait until after DD's b-day party this weekend. They are not that noticable, so I'm not too concerned. We've also got to finish cleaning up the mess where the woodshed caved in so that we can get the permanet coop done and in place.

Back to DH's back. His therapist told him today that he is getting stronger in his back, but he's not getting hardly any relief, which he should be, and that is not a good sign. I'm beginning to get concerned. He may end up having to have surgery, which is why he's going to the surgeon.

I will try to check back more often. Just know that things are very crazy right now.
