Santa comes tonight!!!!! I woke up with a warm Christmas feeling this morning. I am so excited. My little ones are 6 and 2 and I love it!!

All you girls talking about your bators and hatching makes me jealous. I love hatching. I only did it a few times but I absolutely loved it. I don't live in the country so I don't know what I would do with all my chicks. I wonder if I could sell them. HObby with profits, but then I would be worried about if they are taken care of or not. They are like your own when you hatch them.

We got more snow last night. Not too much....thank goodness! Nice blanket of snow for santa to land I guess. I'm trying to look at the good in everything.

Merry Christmas to all my hookers. I'm working on a really neat lap throw right now to place on the back of my oversized chair. It is really neat. Simple but really neat pattern when it's done. I'll post pics of some things I have completed soon.

I looked at that Angelcraft link Purple and it looked like a clearing house of links to me, did I look at the wrong place? There were alot of yarn links, wasn't sure which one you would have used. Durham is an hour and 45 minutes or so from me, closer to two I guess.

Look at this pretty granny adaptation.. http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/jumble/jumble.pdf very pretty and easy looking too, would also help use up some scraps..but...I have so many projects started right now that any new and tempting ones will have to wait a bit!!!

Working on breakfast..bacon, grits, biscuits, over light eggs....come on over smells good!!

Theme: "Anything Goes" Feel free to experiment and challenge your skills for this swap! Hexagons, Circles, Squares, Triangles, or "Other" crocheted shapes are all welcomed!! (No amigurumi in this swap.)

Color: Any! Mix it up or stay the same, up to you!

Size: 6" minimum - 12" maximum. Try to be consistent though, for example, all of your squares should be pretty near the same size, all of your circles should be pretty near the same size....

Pattern: Any! Feel free to mix up your patterns and make every square different or every hexagon different, or all the same, up to you!

Number: As many as there are participants in the swap.

Dates: Chat and gab and get to know one another in this thread. Post as often as you like! Official sign-up opens on February 1, 2009 and Closes on March 1, 2009. All items are due to me no later than May 1, 2009.

New folks are encouraged to visit with us here in this thread and post and get to know us! Chickens are not required, in fact several members of this group are not chicken owners! We are always happy to have new friends here in the crochet club! We'd love to have you join the fun, join the swap or any other projects that we have going on!!!!

When you have finished your Shapes, send me a pm and I'll send you my address so that you can mail in your work.

Good day fellow hookers! I am on a Christmas sugar rush! The kids are up and awaiting bedtime! hehehe
They are very excited for tomorrow!
I am here with encouraging words for you NCF! I also just put eggs in the bator! I only have two, but am waiting for my 6 showgirls to show up. They ought to be here today. Otherwise they will be after Christmas!
Keep my updated on the progress. I know your fist hatch will be prosperous! What day did you put them in? Mine went in on the 23. Others still need to arrive.

blehhhh!! today looks hectic here.. Next year shall be different!! lol
This is pure torture... why I'm torturin myself, I'll know later. lol
I have to get dressed

, go to the feed store, go finish my shopping, then remember the groceries too! And I have to get a roastin pan, I cannot forget the pan!!! Please dont let me forget it! I wont let Jim ruin another of my cake pans!!!! He's already this year ruined my cookie sheet, my cake pan, and a casserole pan, a pizza sheet, a cutting board, several knives, all my big drink cups, some glasses.... that's just the kitchen utensils! Think I'll put on my bah humbug shirt and make myself enjoy it. LOL As in, cause he'll be stuck here with the girls hyped up on pumpkin bread for breakfast!!!

I have officially wore myself a blister on my thumb from that darned hook!! I have crafted myself into a boo boo! lol

OK Professor Rocket, here is my very first BLING post!! Thanks for your previous tutorial!

Thanks for the support Fr.Chuck and sewincircle! Good to know there are a couple others in the same hatching shoes as me!

I have 7 EE eggs, 1 Welsummer egg and 3 banty eggs in there! I need to count the days to see what the ETA is for them. Hopefully I'll get at least a few to hatch! I think 2 of them were damaged in shipping. They have an air bubble that moves around inside when I candled last night.

OK guys, the Santa countdown is ON now!!
