I'm here, just catching up on all the reading, I will be heading to wally world on Tuesday to get the yarns. ANyway, the hats and the afghans look really super. So does the baby shawl. I have doctor's appointments on Monday and Tuesday. THese are the state doctors that have to exam me for my disability claim.

In anycase I have a lot to do over the weekend with trying to get things done around here and get the coops done and runs built.

Good luck with the appointments, I know how bad of a thing it is, they want you to work, yet you cant. Jim was told he could still hold a manager's job, at the family dollar distribution center, where they unload the boxes off the trucks. He couldnt even walk straight. lol Something bout a broken neck making walking hard? lol

Well, the one on Monday is the Physical exam, for my heart murmur, prolapsed mytriol valve, reflux, hypertension, high blood pressure, ruptured discs, high cholesterol, arthitis. The one on Tuesday is for the chronic depression. This time I have hired an attorney to handle my case.

Well as for Jim, they better never see the pics of him and that rooster in the boxers! They just might send the men in the white suits for him!

And lock him away for a long, long time.

I've been on doing lots of lurking today...

all over everyone's projects!

I just got my attic craft closet organized! It went from a gigantic mess to organized with the help of an Elfa closet system that DH so nicely installed for me last night! I have before and after pics that I should post for you all! I'm sooooooo excited!

Also, I picked up 9 silkie eggs from a lady yesterday!

I now have 17 eggs in the bator!

Oh, there's a town about 100 miles from here, Big Spring, and they have a whole hospital designated for people less crazy then Jim. lol
There's a MHMR here in town, every so often, he says something that makes me look up thier number.

I tell everyone, if I had known that he wouldnt remember a single thing for the 3 months after the wreck, I would have messed with his mind more!

I was 7 months preg with our youngest, his son was living with us, he was 15, and Alyssa was 23 months, then you add a serious head and neck injury... I had 4 freakin kids in the house!
He was not the person you wanted around you. Guess that's why we learned to laugh a lot more. Make it fun

Happy New year ALL!!! We watched the 3 older grandbabies on New Years eve, needless to say most of us was in bed by 10pm! Hubby was the night owl.

Then on New years day, we went to our oldest daughters & had supper with them & our DS & family. After supper, the adults played "Battle of the sexes".

Nope, no package yet....good thing I am a patieint person.

Nice job on the projects all.

I am so slacking in hooking...I need to finish daughters baby afghan, haven't started the swap project yet.

And I have to ask...

...when you have your chicks in the house, how do you keep them from potting all over the place???

FrChuck! Take Care! You sound so cheerful enough...I would tell them that it *is* the chickens keeping you upbeat!

For Chicks in the house, at least for mine...No Chicks, they have their own penned in brooder thing and when they do get out for a chat (because they all can fly up onto the edge now and want attention, when I open the roof thingie) then we just run around with paper towel for the times they let the bombs drop. Fortunately they don't venture further than the edge of their brooder and couch/futon frame.

Tomorrow they are getting their final in house expansion - The Brooder Bunker out on the porch! Woo HOo! we will be designing it so we can walk in. It will be like a mini coop out on the porch. Pics as soon as I can.

Well thanks Ris, I have often wondered when you guys talk of your chickens in the house.

I posted on the craft thread, but wanted to see what you guys had to offer for ideas. Our oldest DD is getting married in September, I need decorating ideas. They don't have a theme yet, but the colors are black, silver & a pretty blue, but not a navy blue. I am to do the invites to, she liked the one I did for her brother. She just wants her different.
