I told Se I would like be on that list too, I sure hope whoever I get to host will be here in time to go to the BYC Ok ChickenStock with me and get pics in front of the Banners and with all the winners. that would be cool. Sorry gals for not posting much lately but I have just been stuck in the mud lately can't seem to be able to get out of the fog if ya know what I mean. Today was a slow day I did some house work worked on my chickenstock stuff, hooked a bit. and slept alot. well I got pics of my window ghan and some unusal and different kinda of refidgerator (sp?) art that my Blaylee did tonight, SO I will have to upload to my bucket and then will post them up sometime tomorrow. Shanah those squares are great gal. doing good and I love the IPod sleve. I look forward to puting one of them in my byc house robe that I am going to make with my squares. well ladies I am off to bed to sleep off this slump and Hope i have more engery in the morning cause I sure need it. This is the best thread ever. It has been an interesting week for me...so far I seem to be weathering the transition better than I usually weather most.

Final report today: I sold 6 dozen eggs. (I had a supply of 9 dozen on hand) I am selling them a little below market price (4.00 a dozen) with a carton deposit for our egg cartons....bring back the carton, you get your eggs for 4.00, otherwise, 4.50. Eggs "is" expensive and our supply isn't up yet, especially since we have to get our ladies healthier. It might be a rough winter...man, these gals are expensive...but hopefully now I have supplies in stock and won't have to use them that often, so they will last.

My mind is quite frazzled and I am really hoping I have some memory and brain function left after this week. I figure if I make it through this week, next week will be that much easier.

I really want to hook some, but.....whoop...there goes my concentration again...
Better head to bed.

Just a quick note before bed. Hope everyone had a good day today, Maw I got your patterns today, Thanks so much. I did try to do one but immediatly got stuck on working the petals. You may be getting a pm if I can not figure it out to easily. Karan thanks for sending the sunflower pattern and I will give it a try tomorrow, but one question, you have a qdc stitch in there, can you tell me exactly what that is, as I thought when I read it a quarter double crochet? Let me know and I am going to give it a whirl tomorrow. Thanks so much for sending it. Does anyone know if wendy typed the 2nd page to the pinwheel afghan pattern that she started a couple pages back and did I miss it and if I did can you tell me the page the 2nd page is on please? I am waiting to keep on trying that pattern. I invented a round dish cloth pattern tonight all by myself and it turned out pretty cute. I will post a pic of it tomorrow morning. Good night all. I think that quarter double has to do with turning your work but it isn't a stitch I have ever used...congrats on the challenge and let us know how that looks!! I worked on my crochet-a-long squares last night for the lionbrand sampler, course I only have like 20 something more sqaures and a border to do, lol!!! I do like the wool though, works easy and nice and has a great weight..almost need it outside this morning as it's really chilly!!! I LOVE FALL!!!!


Pulled up two tomato plants yesterday and put them and the little green tomatoes on them in the chicken pen...they were picked clean this morning!! When I finish inside with all my tons of housework this week I will pull up all the garden stuff and rake/till alittle, my chickens will LOVE that, so many worms under that dirt!!

Shanah, that is so cool on the egg sales!! Maybe you can rig a bell system folks can ring and you can run outside instead of having to sit there all day..make some awesome signs and a bell and get all your inside stuff done until people show up..you know..so you can hook more, lol!!

Gotta see that round dishcloth Trudy!! I've been working on dishcloths for weeks for my album bowls but I'm using a lionbrand pattern that works up really awesome...love to see yours though!!!

Morning girls!
I would do a cute graphic, just a little one, but I don't even feel like the graphic serf today...so, Scoot, *bow* it's all up to you. It feels like a Monday to me. It's been so busy, it feels like Saturday when the girls came was at least a week ago. They are all doing better today, and I haven't even given them their new health regimen completely yet..

I lost internet last night, so I have some catch up reading to do. Thanks all for the egg selling encouragement. SE, I can bring my laptop out to the cart (it's a little shed thing like the ones you see all over on farm roads....) since it has power, but today I am just going to hook out there. I am not going to sit out there all day any more though, the thing got too hot. So Yup - A sign it is, and they can come to my door. I will go out there this afternoon though. I have to wait for the bus anyway.

Uhmmm, I can't think of anything else. Actually I just feel like I can't think at all any more. Good luck all you adventurous souls with all those patterns. I will be lucky to get my squares done...

I might have if my mini side projects hadn't distracted me.

well hookers today is my youngest DDs birthday. she is 15...so we are haveing a lil party here with her boyfriend,aunt and uncle...
so yesterday i rearranged the living room,cleaned,and dusted it all,did the dinning room and bathroom. doing the kitchen and laundry today. when DD gets home from school she will finish picking up her room. its only 9:00 am and i am exhausted!!
lol oh well she's worth it. so later on tonight we will be partying...

and the 15 year old DD doing her favorite past time LOL
