Do ya need to go get more of those chickens??? I hope my Marans lay that well. I got 6 eggs tonight out of 5 laying hens, don't quite know how that happened?

but it's ok

One of my Buff Orffs bit me as I went to get the egg out 1st time any of those hens have ever done that.. Does that mean she is getting broody? or just moody?

Boy leave you guys a couple days & I have to read for 2-3 hours to catch up, oh well it was enjoyable reading.

I got a sore throat a couple nights ago. Yesterday I was so tired, felt so fuzzy (for a bit thouht I was becoming a chick

). That eve I was running a slight fever, throat felt worse, headache. So I went to the doc today. He gave me an antibiotic, sure hope it helps.

Redhen...i wanted to say Thank you for the rest of the pattern, I also was going to ask for the edging instructions.

greentree...I want to comment but, not sure why you don't work from the farm any more. Hang in there though, they say the good Lord doesn't give you more than you can handle. Sometimes though I wish he wasn't so trusting with me. You have a good group by the looks of things here, so you might as well drop your chicken crap (

So while I type this, my husband is watching a program on tv. they are cooking outside (now, not long ago he was looking at your posts...curious) & he hears a rooster crowing & asks me ...is that on your post

Oh I forgot Ris.. for starter your squares look good. Once you fix the edges as they have suggested, you will be on your way.

It took me & another gal *YEARS* to teach my step mom how to crochet.

She never could get it. Chain she could make forever & then some. Finally one day my dad was watching us, as I tried to teach my stepmom again. He says show me how for the heck of it, so I did. He caught right on. I gave him some yarn to take home to mess with. he came back a couple days later with a twin size afghan a 1/3 of the way done in sc! My stepmom, was still trying. A couple weeks later, she FINALY got it. SC, that is. Took another 3 months or so before she caught onto the granny square. Now she has made 2 afghans & 2 scarfs, since learning almost a year ago!

Good morning, ladies!!

So far it has been a very chaotic morning for me! Why is kids want to tell you at the very last SECOND that they have an extra credit project due TODAY but they don't know what they want to make it out of?

No hookin' for me yesterday. I'm hoping I can get some done this weekend, but I'm not holdn' my breath!

DH did give me the go ahead to set up the 'bator and start hatching some

Steph, that is so true of boys..last minute on every project..my husband and I made alot of "A"'s on last minute projects becasue Travis "forgot"!!! He would fall asleep and we would make habitats and ant farms and solar systems...it's a boy "thang"!! Erin would do her projects weeks in advance, still does in college, kids are so different!! Susan, stop worrying about not having chickens, really we don't mind at all so no worries and no guilt!! And someof us hear roosters crowing in our heads too so you are def. in the right place!!!

SE ~ You're not helping! LOL I know that my son is that way, but this is my middle daughter! AND she's usually the one that I DON'T have to worry about.

Oh, well. They're now all at school and I've got a few hours here to get things done.

ya know its got me thinking(yes i do that once in awhile) in 1 year my DD who is almost 17 will be 18 and moving out..then my other DD who is 15 now will be moving out in 3 years!

i dont know if i can do this!! i have been depressed real bad these last few days.......my kids are growing up!
