Maw, aint it fun to play in the mud.
I love being able to go outside with my girls and get them dirty. Well, Alyssa used to not be fun, she would get mad if I started a mud fight with her and Bryan, Jim's oldest (he's 21 lol). She was allowed to throw mud, and Bryan was, not me. Caydence, that girl just wants to be muddy all day long. Now at bedtime, she's the different story. If for one night, she goes without a shower, there is a fit thrown bigger then the state of Tx.!
Off to drink my soda, and work with my yarn. I would say hookin, but at bedtime,?? ewwwwww lol

Ok nochicks, you can have the fun back, and we want details, just no pics (unless you take off the censor bar!)

Mommahen, I hear Tx is a good retirement area. Warmish weather, no state taxes, wide open skies. Just don't go petroplex area, then ya got pumpjacks, sour gas flares (where they burn off the sour gas as they refine the crude oil) unless you're like us, and want to smell your way home. lol

Hi guys! Hope everyone had a good weekend! I am bursting with excitement cause my Secret Santa gift is almost done!!

I'm happy with how it turned out and I'm hoping the recipient will like it too!

It's been a nice relaxing weekend here. I'm glad the kids have a few days off of school! No making lunches and having to be somewhere first thing!

Well got the livingroom tackled and 2 windows washed and sealed (plastic on the inside) dishes done and supper over. Noah and I just finished a short game of Disney Seen it and he is in the shower. OOOHHHH some quite time.

I have crawled out from hiding for a few moments to make one last post of the night. (Really, last post. then I am going back into hooking hiding...) Anyway, you all might do this already, but I figured out a great way to keep track of my row counts.

I have 20 sided and 10 sided dice. (old school gamer...those who are geeky will understand

) And various other sided dice and all I have to do is set the number up showing what number I am currently working on. I just have to remember to turn the dice when I am on the next row.

and make sure nothing knocks over the dice...but other than that it seems to be a great system! (when I am focused)
Gonna go sit by my babies and hook awhile...

Ya'll just mail off your Secret Santa projects whenever you want as long as it is No Later Than the 15th. So when my SS gets mine, she can either open it or save it....wanna lay odds on how many of us can wait?!!! lol!!! I say NONE!!! haha!! I want to wait but I dunno...that box will sure be tempting!!

I saw that mutant duck egg pic last night and dreamed of seeing ducks everywhere last night, course the Disney mascots were walking around too so whatever I ate before bed induced some wild dreams, lol!!! They were all singing and happy though, even the ducks were singing the stupid, stick in your head all day until you want to kill yourself song, It's A Small World...sorry, don't hate me if it sticks in yours too, at least I'll have company today with my head singing!!! That country song about watching airplanes got stuck in my head once for about 3 days...good grief!! I have to turn that one off if it comes on the radio for fear of a replay!!! Crazy I know!!

Either you all are very very quick with the hook, yarn and needles or just have them in your hands all the time. I just can't seem to crank them out as fast as you, SE, Queen Scoot, SK and LC and MAW Ya all are speed demons with the yarn.

I'm having to redo, or just take out the yellow broader I put around the small cirles on Zoe's afghan. They just wasn't going together with the big ones, it was my idea to to put the yellow around any way wasn't on the pattern.
