H and G are my favorites. I have tight stitches though...if your stitches are loose or you want them looser, a bigger hook is better, I think...*shrug* I picked a cheap set of all the major sizes and just experimented.
And now, I will stop being pesty....man, talk about thread hog today....hahaha, Skand yes actually. She's in bed, but she's singing. At least she's in bed. I think I will follow her with my hook now. got a selfish project to work on for a bit. tomorrow ss to finish woo hoo!

lol Caydence finally gave up on getting that last drink in a lil while ago. All ya hear from the girls door is Alyssa sawing logs.
One snorer, one nightmare kid. Doctor wanted to get Alyssa's adnoids out once because of the snoring. Told him no way! How else would I know she was really asleep? lol
Jim keeps glancing at me from the hallway. Think it's his way of tellin me it's his turn before bed. lol

SO .. I guess it should be my beddybye time too.

Oh, and sk, I usually pick a size H for most things. But I've been using a size "K" for SS and for several Christmas gifts I'm working on. The smaller sizes are too little for me to hold comfortably.
And you babies are making me feel OLD. I'm 48, and old enough to be "mom" to some of you (if I had started at 16!) Ds#2 tells me I'm ancient anyway. He's still at the age (22) that he thinks he knows everything about everything.

wasatusay - welcome to this group, really happy to have you and believe it or not some of these crazy folks are brand new as well!! Only takes a little time to feel right at home here, so feel free to post all you want. At 50, I am probably the old lady of the group, also the unlucky one that has to work so I post in the mornings and evenings! There are several that are able to chat with you in the daytime however, so please post and get to know folks. You have been given some great info already by Skand and Risurocket which pretty well covers the social parts...we hold spring and fall crochet swaps and there is an amigurumi sqap in the works after the new year also. We are also batting around sending some baby squares to Okiemommy, our pregnant hooker on this corner!! So, lots of things to do, look at the first page of the thread for swap instructions. We all use g and h hooks for our squares so if you are using something smaller with the thread, that would be fine too. Not sure who does the double sided crochet, I have two books on it but haven't done it, Guitarists might now how, or Greentree, someone will know. Welcome to this group, really happy to have you.

Good to hear you got lots of sleep Scoot. Be safe on the way. Take your hookin materials, it might be a long day ahead of you. We'll be praying they find out what's wrong and start the process of getting it fixed right.

We have great heaping piles of snow that pretty much destroyed my run roof.

My girls are inside today for hawk protection and they wouldn't have come out anyway. They will still eat a bucket of snow.

There. I have accomplished something today. I washed and sanitized all the various waterers. I had Caydence wash her wonderful crayon art off the hallway walls. Oh and I partially mopped and sanitized my kitchen floor!!
