Good MORNING! I have to hurry here.

Yay for MIA Hookers (ahem that's crochet hooks) checking in! We miss you!

I have been officially placed as BE A HOOKER BUDDY/ADOPT A HOOKER SISTER Chair and I am to assign partners to our New Members and Veteran Members if you want one so that we can make sure no one feels left out.

Any volunteers want to partner up? This project is going to take me awhile, so if anyone wants to volunteer to ADOPT A HOOKER SISTER, please PM your adoptee and set it up and then let us know who you adopted.

Oh and this does not mean we are picking Favorites....

This also does not mean that we can't all still help each other. This is just so that we keep each other loved and that we each have one or more new member and there's not just one of us trying to keep track of all of us...Our responsibilities for our adopted Sisters will be to keep them informed (don't overwhelm them, just be available to report) and help out with questions or direct them to where they can get answers.

Did that make sense? I need Coffee! I offer to adopt Algopurple if she wants me. Do you think I need to start a new thread for this?

Mornin' all! Happy Saturday to everyone! My favorite day of the week. DH left to take BIL to the airport this a.m. All the kids wanted to go, so I have the house to myself for a bit. Sorry to see BIL go, we all just adore him.

Still got quilting projects coming out of my ears. I've taken over the table with my machine, fabric and cutting implements!

I just wanted to say "hi" for a minute! Got to go out and pick up doggie land mines

before the gardener shows up!

Of all the cleaning I've gotten done, and still need to do... I havent accomplished much at all.
Supposed to be doing living room, right? Christmas decorations and all... well, I got my kitchen cabinets washed off. Some of the floor hand mopped and the top shelf/ dust collector/basket keeper outta the wayer..dust collector..did I mention it was hiding all the dust.
My hands reek of pinesol.

Let's see how many us crazy chatters can adopt. I will make a list shortly. I think even any of us who have been around awhile but who don't want to catch up or can't but want to know the news could get adopted too. It would probably work best if those of us who are online a lot do the most adopting.
Skand, Queen Scoot (offered to adopt Jennifer), SE, Me (I offered to adopt Algopurple and 2 more), Karanleaf, ummm....others for the "Mother Hens"?

If you want to be adopted, sound out! We'll take you under our wings! I can probably adopt three as my clutch.

Good morning everyone. Well I guess it is afternoon for many of you. Ive been trying to finish up a pair of socks that Im knitting before I start back in on a crocheted granny square blanket that I started on a road trip and havent been back to.

My mom said that one of my nieces told her that she has been crocheting dog sweaters and selling them at the flea market. She said that she sells as many as she makes and has orders for custom dog sweaters, too.
I was touched because my niece told my mom that she was thankful that I had taught her to crochet when she was young and it turned out to be a skill that is now helping to feed her family. Made me cry a little.

Jennifer/NewChickenFamily......... What quilting projects are you working on?

Mawchickkidie....... Arent you clever?

Building the girls a beautiful playhouse........... that when they outgrow it can be turned into a chicken coop! That was the plan, right?

Alpacachick.......... Id love to see pictures of the wrist warmers and legwarmers (both crocheted and knitted) when you are done. Do you have any fast and easy patterns?

HEY!!!

I found the directions!!!

OK.. so for all those of you who wanted to crochet a Christmas Tree (the pic of which is back on some page or other!) I now found the directions!!! So, if you'd be too kind as to PM me w/ your email addy, I'll get that off to you ASAP and you can have another WIP!
Now, for the Beaded Icicles I did for Jacie's SS gift (also pic on one of the many pages here!) I found those directions as well! Again, PM me and let me know what your email addy is and it'll be out too!

Yup, Karan, just make sure that our members don't feel left out and all is good in the coop. Occasionally. We don't want to pester them. Just keep them up to date and if they seem to be missing head out and look for them.
