Here's my report for the day...then I am going back to lurking.
I currently have my roo, Grizzly on my shoulder and another chick in a box... They have decided to get vicious after we moved them to the porch (a more "natural" outside type environment) ....They are now doing the pecking thing and since Griz has a pea comb and they seem to be noticing other differences in each other, they are getting beat up and bloodied. *sigh* So, I am investing in pine tar and dose them up tonight. woo hoo.
One thing I can say, having a chick on my shoulder does get me out of doing a lot of chores.
I have to many things going on & right now, just don't think it is fair for my name to be on there & not do anything. We just moved about month ago & I am still not unpacked, I still need to finish a baby afghan for my daugter who is due in April. What I could use is some energy!
I appreciat your offer though. I have 2 big totes of yarn & one is baby yarn. I am thinking when I get my daughters done & unpacking done, then I will get back on the list for future babies!
Not a problem, I understand the moving bit! I hate even the thought of having to move! My next move will be either to a farm or the funny farm or the grave!

They have plenty of things to explore in their new set up. Unfortunately I think it was the change in food and the change in temp that has started this in motion. So we are upping the protein level and praying for the best. But I think a hanging bell is a great idea and we will be giving them a dust bath box now that they have room. They don't know what to do with the treats I give them. Hopefully they will figure that out.
ETA: Griz just crowed in my ear. Ow...
Skand, I had my share of scrapes on my knees growing up but your treadmill accident sounds lots worse than mine! I always wondered why they put those little safety things on there that you are saposed to clip to yourself.
I haven't gotten any crocheting done today but I did get to put about 7 of my hens hard labor into a tuna egg salad I made for lunch. Can't convince my son that it really is good. Just keeps saying NO when I offer him some.
Got my christmas tree down so I guess I will get back to work on regular house work now.
Oh what made it really embarrassing, was it was me and a friend went to an amusement part (six flags) with her mom for a week. So, here was me and her, really cool looking teens (yeah right, in our heads), with me stiff legged walking, in a pair of shorts. I looked not cool.
Head on over to the thread to join the fun! Anyone who wants to can be adopted. I hope all those who have been adopted are keeping in touch with your buddies.
I'm not, I've suckered myself into a lot of ongoing projects and trying to super clean my house at the same time. My yarn is already glaring at me as I type.

Pick me up lady! Get me done already!
risurocket Same goes for me. My hooks and yarn are threatening to mutiny with my chicks. It could get ugly. The magic yarn ball sounds intriguing though, maybe next time.
Me also I was very Interested. Then I did n't know it was going to be so compalcated ??? I do more than enough surveys at work. I might later maybe if it is a theme type thing. You know like colored eggs for easter
