OK for anyone that was interested this is how I marked my granny squares for the last swap.
I just printed a contact page of my avatar w/ 4 pics across and 6 rows of pics, so it filled the page w/ 24 pics.
Then I just cut the pic w/ decorative edge scissors, punched a hole in the corner of the pic, and tied it to the corner of the granny square. WaaaLaaaa..instant marker. Very quick & easy! I'm not sure how I'll mark them for the Fall SWAP.
Here's a few of my Sunflower Granny Squares. I finally figured out how to read the dang crochet lingo. Boy, I was really hating that pattern for a while. The pattern made a 4" square, so I just added a few more rounds to make it 6".
I don't like the blue yarn b/c it's thinner and curls up, so I may go out and buy a heavier weighted one to use for the swap.
