This is the pre thread for the crochet swap. The official sign up for the Fall Crochet Swap will be sometime in Sept.

We just chat and show what projects we are working on until the swap begins. I had good intentions on working on my squares to have them finished for the swap, so I can work on other projects, but haven't gotton very far.

The guide lines are to crochet 6" granny squares any pattern or any color scheme. We crochet as many squares as the number of people that sign up. I think the list is up to 21 or so right now. That way everyone will get one square from everyone.

You can make anything you want out of the squares you receive back. Mawchick & Scrambled made awesome bags from their granny squares from the Spring SWAP.

www.crochetcabana.com is one link that has some free patterns. I can't remember the other links, but would be happy to look for them if you need them.

Amy, those are awesome!

Darlene ~ I think Hexagons would be lots of fun!

I haven't got much done on my end. DH and I have been trying to get some projects done around here, especially redoing the screened in back porch. It's almost done! All we need to do now is put the wood strips up on the outsideto cover the seams in the screen.

His back is really killing him so he's not been doing as much. I've been trying to do as much as I can to ease his burden. He goes to the Neurosurgeon on Tuesday, so we'll see what he has to say.

My middle DD's b-day is this Saturday, so I'm also trying to get ready for that. I've got to bake the cake today so that I can start decorating it tomorrow.

OK - back to work for me! Have a great day, everyone!

HDC - YO and insert hook into chain. YO and pull through ch (3 loops on hook). YO and pull yarn through all 3 loops on hook.

The only difference is you're pulling through all 3 loops instead of YO and pull through 2 loops, YO and pull through remaining 2 loops on hook.

HTH!
