I know the feeling Maw about chekcing out all these great links and getting caught up in them!! I think..one more page...well, just one more...okay, last one...yeha right, loL!!

Burning up this week of vacation pretty quick here, lol! My house is alot cleaner, the kid is back home today for her second load, lol!!!! At least this time we don't have to go back with her. It's rained steadily all day long today too, great day to have peas in the crock pot, which I do, and a turkey breast in the oven....if only I had a million dollars or two I could so enjoy being at home everyday!!!! So jealous of the ones that can do that!!!!

I laughed over that high heel egg cozy too Maw, that was hilarious!! The heels on the egg were crazy enough but the sweater was wild!!

Scoot...save the flower granny pattern for the spring..when we do the spring swap next year we are gonna do hexagons (and some squares for the more timid!!) so practice up on the hexagons ya'll or at least find yourself a pattern you like and we'll try to start the swap maybe the first of March and run it through May..plenty of time to learn hexagons and get those down pat, then Maw can run the fall swap again and we can make this a continual thing...something productive and fun to look forward to..and an awesome reason to keep buying yarn, lol!!!!!!! I feel like I should buy yarn I like when it's on sale..just because it's on sale, lol!! Now how addicted is that?!!!!

Scoot, Maw answered the hdc crochet right..just 2 in the same space and whatever you are making with hdc should work up soooooo fast!! That preemie blanket in the veriagated pastels on the charity page was all hdc and it went super fast. Good luck!!

Angie, that little mushroom is soooo cute!!!! Those little things would be so cute tucked in a stocking at Christmas!! Ya'll are sure a clever bunch!!!

Scoot, I've seen that afghan picture somewhere before, maybe MaryMaxim.com? Not sure, might have been crochetville...have you typed in the exact name and let google search for it? Someone may have posted it somewhere. It is really pretty, although I would change the colors, no blue in my house but greens would be gorgeous.

Scoot if you happen to find that pattern for the 6-pointed star for free let me know I have been wanting to do that one for a month. MY mom is going to buy it for me this weekend to make a afghan for a friend of hers. I also am going to have her buy that cathedrail window pattern which I just love. So if you don't happen to find it just let me know and I will send you a copy of the pattern.

Well DD is off to her first day of 2nd grade this morning. it all just goes by so fast.
