BYC Equestrian Club

Greetings fellow Horse Lovers just stumbled onto this thread. I also have loved horses since my child hood, got my 1st pony at the age of 8, and have had horses in my life off and on since. I did have a dry spell of 20 years without owning 1. Until we moved back from Kansas City and bought our own place. Now have 6 wonderful equine family members.

18 year old Queenie Morgan/QH Sorrell w/Blaze mare 13.2 hh
7 year old Star (daughter of Queenie) 3/4 QH 1/4 Morgan Sorrell w/star mare 14.1 hh
14 year old Annie Mustang/QH/ Arab Red Dun mare 14.2 hh
17 year old Iowa Star aka Big Sis American Saddle bred Chestnut w/ star strip and snip mare 15.3 hh
20 month old Kendal (1st born of Big Sis) Saddle bred/ Appaloosa filly Dark Bay starting to show spots 15.2 hh (her Grandma was 17 hh)
15 year old Rocket (our Colorado Horse) Tri Color Paint gelding 15 hh

We mainly trail ride. I am a 4H horse leader in our county, and secretary of our local saddle club. We have 240 acres next to us we are allowed to ride on. All our horses are bare foot. And semi fat and sassy.

Well there is my herd. Everyone's horses are so beautiful. Thanks for letting me share. We will be working on getting Kendal into riding this summer she will be 2yrs April 17. Have had saddle on her just to let her get use to it , no fuss no muss.
