I'm so proud to be a BYC member!!! The world is learning what we've known all along.

Last year I'd told my brother about BYC and how helpful and friendly it is. A little while later he saw BYC mentioned in a major NYC newspaper, he emailed me to thank me for 'putting him in the know'. He proudly told his friends his little sister was a member of the backyard chicken lovers group.

Now, if only they would build one here in Loxahatchee/Wellington/West Palm Beach Florida.. This is the LARGEST winter equestrian showgrounds in the WORLD! I have asked numerous people to send Emails trying to convince them to open one here. There's three huge empty store fronts centrally located to the area.. An old Albertson's grocer store, an old Winn Dixie and another store that was a huge restauraunt.. all on SR80 main Hwy frontage. I was told that since 09, the economy was too bad to open any more, yet, when you go to the TSC website, there's a LOT of grand openings planned.. What gives? I love the bargains, But I hate the monthly hour drive to Clewiston (no where NEAR as big agriculturally or equine wise as Palm Beach) to get my feed.. All I can do is hope they decide it would be a great move economically to open one here..
