Just feeling super happy about being a member of this group. I didn't know a darn thing about chickens before I joined here. My chickens would be taking a dirt NAP instead of a dirt BATH if it weren't for you all so I say......

Oh, yeah, the man who bought the farm this n'hood was made from was from Ft. Pierce and divided it up into tracts of acreage, sold all of them to his pals from Ft Pierce. I bought mine from an estate of a man who was from Ft. Pierce.

I have to say I totally agree, BYC ROCKS !!!! I've had a computer for years, could barely type, & never had even glanced at another forum. Then I put an add on craigslist & a BYCer responded to my add. She then turned me on to this site.
Now I'm on here everyday (after I go to dads to do the chicken thing), My typing has improved 99 %, I've meet several really nice BYC people from my area, & I'm now a member of the GREATEST site ever !!!!!!
HOW COOL IS THAT !!!!

Nifty-Chicken you are more than welcome. Everyone has been really helpful and nice. That is hard to come by these days.

Speckledhen-So you are surrounded by us scrub people. Tell your neighbors we live on land just North of the old house of ill repute (Sadies- US Hwy 1) that is now an antique shop. They might get a kick out of it if they remember the location.
