Now, how in the world do you do the magic loop? I have a pattern for miniture socks, sweater, mittens and hat that you are supposed to do on long circular, but I could not figure out what they were saying so I did it on double points.

I love the pics of the sweaters! I decided to wimp out and went with a shrug instead of a sweater. It seemed easier. I'll get the courage up to do a sweater next if this project comes out. I'm also working on a purse for myself. I found a neat pattern on line that you felt when done. I'll post pics when it is done in a few days.

I'm on the second sleeve of the baby sweater. Almost to the moment of truth to see if it all fits together. Wish me luck.

I just started knitting about 2 years (after learning how to about 40 years ago from my Grandma - lost interest after my first pair of slippers).

I just finished a Baby Surprise Jacket from my handspun yarn. Well, it's not really finished yet ... I still have to sew up the shoulder sleeves. Right now, I'm having fun with laying it so it looks like one piece of a really messed up blanket, making two folds and viola! jacket!

yup, we still use wal-mart - they see us more than the folks at the grocery store!

As long as you're handy with a pitch fork, hammer, broom or wash cloth and aren't afraid to use them, come on over!
