I looked the word up and it didn't help me much. I'm thinking a sort of hat or headscarf?

It's a head scarf. Very easy to knit up using short rows. The pattern is free (I may have spelled it incorrectly!)

Hi fellow knitters! I just found this thread and I am so happy I'm not the only one wanting to knit tiny sweaters for my chickens!

I've been knitting for almost 4 years, spinning for 3 1/2 years, and in 10 days will have my first 8 chicks. We're getting 3 BR, 3 GS and 2 EEs.
