It is the addi click interchangeable system I LOVE tgem. Any time I use walmart brand needles they feel like sandpaper the addis are do smootg!

I though you meant a machine, lol.

I bought the Boye interchangeable needle set this year and it works very well for circular knitting. But Addi has a great reputation.

Do you use double pointed needles? I got an inexpensive set on Amazon and love them. But still learning, so got point protector / stitch saver ends and kept those on the needles at rest - scared it would all come off. I would love to learn to knit socks, but seems to skilled for me at the present, maybe next winter can start.

I also bought the Addi Express Kingsize circular knitting machine - you can do hats in 30 minutes, but how many hats does one need? I found a local charity for the homeless I can donate to, but spring is here so will have to do that next winter.

I have use double pointed needles several times. It is WAY more easy than it looks lol I need to start taking pics I used to have some but I think I lost them. Once my little one was potty trained I donated all her pants to a mama who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford nice wool pants the yarn aline is usually around 50 bucks. You pretty much have to use fpns if you're making small things gs like mittens and stuff. I beleive there are patterns to knit mittens and socks flat but then you have afford seam. I wanna make tube socks that way I do t have yo deal with a heel. I did short rows is the pants I made but I'm still no good at them lol

I'm allergic to wool, but did a few purses and felted them, was fun to do. I just knit with cotton or synthetics.

Are you allergic to untreated wool? A lot of people are allergic to the chemicals they use to make wool machine washable or maybe your allergic to lanolin? That's a bummer wool is so fun but they make such beautiful synthetics that you probably don't even miss it lol I love chunky yarn not only because it knits fast for instant gratification but I love the look of it as well.

Any wool garmet breaks me out. If it touches skin. Ok if lined. I do like the washable wool like synthetics. Even lambs wool items break me out. Do they process wool with lanolin, I do have some problems with baby oil, don't know about lanolin? But even needle point with wool yarns causes some problems unless I limit my exposure.

But, hey, synthetics are so much more economical..

Lanolin is from sheep's wool it's the oil from the sheep's oil glands. Kinda like how ducks and chickens have old glands that they use to keep their feathers healthy and waterproof.

I am working on two Baby sweaters and a sweater for me and i think one other but I can't remember. the First sweater I will probably finish this weekend. We should have a knit along thing kind of like a Hatch a thon

I'm here. Not very active, but I am around on occasion. I took a 4 month break from knitting and just started knitting a shawl I started back in 2013 again a few weeks back. I think I just got too burnt out by deadlines for items that I lost the joy I once got. It is coming back to me now. Have one order I have to finish as soon as I figure out how to make it work and then I will be back to knitting my lace shawls once again.
