I must be crazy. I just started knitting a vertically pleating and horizontally striping baby blanket for my first niece to be out of ..... sock yarn.

AND - I am doing it slow like a beginner because I went to the knit shop today and hung out with the owner and found out what was wrong with my stitches. I have been knitting the wrong way for 15 years.

I did 2600 stitches last night, brought it in todayand she pointed out my issues and then ripped it all out and made me start over!!!

She said I might as well do it the right way from the start. And she's right, but I'm cranky and I have a cold coming on...so the blankie will wait a few nights!

Ouch that had to hurt seeing all that work undone.

I got my dvd wow is there alot here. First 20 mins I learned things I could not understand even from youtube. I will be buying all of Lucy Neatby's dvd. These are just amazing. Like a live teacher living with me.

You'll learn a lot from them if they're as good as the quilting dvd's I have.
