i would think so...except the just go to the first knucle and are left open so the rest of your finger is open...gosh dangnabit i cant think of what they are called!!
 
Hi all. I'd like to join in the fun. I've got a lot to make for the holidays too.

As for the question:
do y'all know those gloves that just go to the first knuckle and have each finger in them??

do you mean the ones used for dexterity for hunting and all. They are like a regular glove that has no finger tips on them?

no not the ones used for hunting...these are the latest craze at DD school...i guess they have been around for a while now and are just comming back into style. oh and

I finished the dress! I've been knitting up a storm the last couple of days.

Those sweaters Mcgoo are LOVELY - lots of work there!
 
i'd just like to say that i LOVE this thread!...i cant knit..

..but i love to see all the differant patterns on here...does any one have any chicken or pig afaghan patterns??(my mother knits)..maybe i can convince her to make me one for christmas...lol...thanks, Wendy
 
Hi Wendy... Just an idea, but why don't you ask your mother to teach you to knit - it'll be the best thing you've ever done

As for chicken patterns, go to google and type in "free chicken knitting pattern". Use the quote marks to start with, and if nothing comes up, remove them and try again

thanks catcrazy....i wish i could knit!...i can crochet a little bit...but nothing good!...lol...thanks for the advice..i'll give it a shot..Wendy
