Maybe a soak in the tub, after the chocolate and the tea....

Sorry, Cat. It is so frustrating to frog it (rip it). Very disheartening. Hang in there. It always seems that I have to change patterns and combine patterns to get what I want. Can't seem to ever find just the right one. Usually wind up frogging the first attempt due to size or shape issues. Ugh!

I am crocheting a plastic bag yarn (you make the yarn out of plastic grocery bags) tote for SIL for Christmas. I'm out of control.

Definately want to see that Hats!!! and that outta control feeling...yeah, I can relate too!!

May I join you ladies?

I've been knitting for about 7 years, I'm self taught.

Right now I have two projects going, a purple hat on the needles for my daughter and a blue and green striped scarf on another pair for my son.
I'm all about winter knitting right now.

I'm sort of stuck with hats that I sew together, scarves, and I made a pair of baby booties ONCE that had to be sewn up.

I'm super intimidated by mittens, socks, sweaters, etc.
I really want to make some mittens but I have no idea how I would do it, is it all knitted in one piece? That scares me.
Same for socks.
And does anyone have any websites I could visit to learn to knit a hat in the round without having to make one piece and sew it together? I'm getting really tired of the seam up the back of all my hats.
