Very nice to meet you Amanda. Your place sounds like a slice of heaven. Glad you duck is doing better, and has become a mom. Is that tom turkey still making trouble? I love bourbon red toms, so pretty, but turkeys in general like shenanigans.

A phantom goldendoodle, it must be so pretty. 3 Pyrenees must eat a lot. I'm so jealous. They are big gorgeous dogs. :)

Thank you! She is the broodiest duck we have ever raised. I kid you not she has gone broody countless times this year. This week I found a hidden nest with five duck eggs.
Anyone want a broody duck? 😂

We culled him. Mostly have had good toms, but he was crazy.
The GP eat a lot, but they are worth their weight in gold just protecting the animals. Here is the dad of our other two and also my doodle.
We raised them with the ducks and chickens.

They are so adorable. Glad you culled the tom before he did more damage. I enjoy my good toms too. I have muscovy ducks. They are very broody too, and very protective of their nests and ducklings. Good moms are a good thing.
 
Great interview, Amanda! It's nice to formally meet you. I can't believe the chickens went up the ladder to roost... that is unreal! 🤣

I snuck a peak at your newly completed coop, and I'm in love with the eclectic look. I'll have to look through the build more thoroughly later.

It’s been such fun getting to know you through your chicken adventure.
It still needs a coop door.
We thought about painting the coop barn red, but like to be reminded of the kindness and generosity of others.
It’s definitely the coop of many colors and probably going to keep it that way. ❤️💚🩶🤍
