BYC Member Interview - janiedoe

There was a feral pair that inhabited a stretch of river that I used to trout fish. They never successfully raised any young.
As best I can tell, there are 3 here. One pair stay together and the single one stays a little further away.
I really hope that they hang around, and that they raise some little ones too.
 
In this photo, you can see the 3rd one. It was taken in the rain so it's not very clear.

Such a wonderful interview. I have so many questions!! LOL How did you get your dog that killed two chickens, to stop wanting to kill them??

I honestly think Dexter stopped killing them because of a combination of things. He got older, I stopped buying squeaky toys (I've read that they contribute to a high prey drive), and a lot of "no's" from my husband, combined with leash traing, and boredom from familiarity.
Dexter died of old age a few weeks ago and we are certainly missing him.
