Great interview & lovely pictures! You are truly a woman after my own heart. I must admit the Yak comment threw me for a minute. You don't often meet a person who dreams of adopting a Yak, but frankly I like you all the more for it.

Great interview & lovely pictures! You are truly a woman after my own heart. I must admit the Yak comment threw me for a minute. You don't often meet a person who dreams of adopting a Yak, but frankly I like you all the more for it.

Apparently yaks are excellent at foraging and will eat more of the wild grasses here so feed costs are less. You can graze more per acre than cows. Also they do better with our weather, need less water and will eat snow, will fight off a coyote (we have many), and meat goes for a better price per pound than beef. I am in love
