Another idea: I'm on another forum (a parenting forum) that lets posters anonymously give other posters titles (the titles go through moderators first, of course, nothing offensive) for a small fee, $2 I think. They call it "dirty deeds done dirt cheap". It's HYSTERICAL, especially because unless the person tells you, you don't know who gave you the title! You get to keep the title for about 2 weeks. Anyway, just another thought--I don't remember what they use the money for, but I suppose it would be a good way to support the site or to raise money for a charity. I imagine it takes a lot of moderator time, though. I guess you could let people "buy" their own temporary and unique titles for a small fee, too.
