BYC members in Massachusetts?

I have no idea where Millville is! I'm in Kingston. We have a Buff Orp hen, Ginger, who is probably our nosiest (nosy as in curious, not loud) bird and we also have a Salmon Faverolle, whom we named Toes. She's very very cute! Did you order from a hatchery? I got my original 6 from a feed store, and I also have ordered from MPC and Murray McMurray with great results!

I have 3 Buff Orpingtons and I love them! So cute and friendly. Mine could be friendlier but I hardly spend any time with them, when I was with them all the time they were very friendly.

I have heard Speckled Sussex and Buff Brahmas are extremely friendly too and IMO, gorgeous. I wanted to add them but didn't. I might eventually though. I have 1 Barred Rock, 2 Black Australorps, 3 Buff Orpingtons, and 2 Easter Eggers. I got 2 of each breed like you plus a Meyer Meal Maker, a free mystery chick. I got mine from Meyer Hatchery. My second BR died at 6 days old, my own fault :( , and the free chick was another BO :D

You will love them!

And Amanda, where in Kingston? I'm in Duxbury! :D

Hm, that sounds familiar but I'm not sure, I don't really go out that way very much. I'm gonna need to look at maps to see if that is the road I am thinking of lol when did he graduate? My brothers or I might know him haha of you don't want to say, you could DM.

And wow you have a lot of birds! How do you like the rocks? Eventually I want to add some more varieties :)

Millville is on the RI border, south of Mendon.

I'm trying not to name them as I don't even have them yet!

We ordered from the feed store.

KDOG - He graduated in 199, but he went to Xaverian. I think his brother graduated from Duxbury HS in 2001. Do you think you would know them?

106 is also Wapping Road. It goes from Kingston into Plympton and then into Halifax.

The rocks are fine. The Buff is from Murray McMurray and I got her as a chick last April. The Partridge Plymouth Rocks are from our original 6 hens, so they're about 3 years old this spring. One of them flies up at me every time I open the door to the run. I know she's just excited, but it drives me nuts! My favorites are Marans and Orpingtons. I'm hoping to get to a point where my flock is mainly Marans, EE's, OE's, and Orpingtons. I have RIR's in the bator, and this is my first hatch super I'm super excited about it, but it's never been a breed I wanted. I was just dying to try out my new Brinsea Mini Advance and someone offered me these fertile eggs, so I went with it. My freeloaders aren't currently laying, and I have a suspicion my roo isn't a real ladies man anyway.

Ohhh okay, he's older than I thought then. My brother graduated in 2009 and I graduated in 2012, my other brother graduated in 2014.

And ohhhh okay. I don't think I know of that road but am not sure. There is one near me that goes to Plympton though.

Huh, I may have to try them anyway lol chicken math :p

LOL any reason to hatch chicks :p
